Synchro Team ProgramThe Port Huron Figure Skating Club is pleased to introduce a new synchronized skating program. This program is made up of two teams of skaters ages 8 - 15. These hard working skaters will be getting together one day a week with on-ice and floor practices scheduled every week. Synchronized skating is team oriented. Skaters working together in a synchronized routine (sort of like an ice show number) set to music. Similar to synchronized swimming….but our water is frozen! These are brand new teams and they hope to compete in at least two competitions this winter. They will also be appearing in the ice show and possibly Beacon's hockey games. Anyone interested in learning more about Synchronized skating should contact the team coaches, Linda Murray and Kim Kirkendall. |
