Regionals Sendoff Party
Every year a select group of our elite senior skaters qualify to represent our club at Regionals. Each year Regionals is held at a different club. To honor and show our support for the hard work, dedication, and many hours these skaters put into their skating, our club honors them with an exhibition of the performance that they will skate at the Regional competition.
Since the younger skaters look up to these competitors in hoping to be just like them one day, these young skaters make posters and present each Regional skater with a bouquet of flowers.
Each new skater going to Regionals receives a Regional jacket from the Port Huron Figure Skating Club. Each year following their initial year at Regionals, the year is embroidered on their jacket and the club presents them with a small gift.
Please join us for cake and refreshments following the skaters' performance. The skaters are very thankful for all the support the club and their families show.
